Chatpata Corn
Ingredients
Sweet Corn - 2 cups
Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
Oil for frying
Onions(finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
Tomatoes(finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Coriander for garnish
Method
- Boil the corn in a pan with water for 4-5 minutes and strain.
- In a bowl add the corns, corn flour, rice flour, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder and salt.
- Mix well.
- Slowly keep adding water 1-2 tbsp at a time in small portions till the corns are coated well.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan for fryig corns.
- Deep fry the corns in medium flame until its nice and golden.
- Remove the corns and filter out the excess oil.
- Take a bowl and add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, salt and mix well.
- Add the mixed spices to the fried corns and toss it.
- Then add the onions, tomatoes, lemon juice and toss the mixture well.
- Lastly add the coriander.
- Your Chatpata Corn is ready !!
